Across the Wasatch Front, summer is buzzing with great local events and activities. Whether you’re in the Bountiful and Farmington areas, or Kaysville, Layton or Ogden, summer fun is all around. Buying a home in Weber or Davis Counties puts you in the heart of Utah’s liveliness. The Month of July always promises to be the height of summer fun with the 4th of July festivities, and Utah’s own Pioneer Day celebrations, also known as “ The Days of 47’.” The Utah holiday is celebrated on July 24th and commemorates the first Mormon pioneers to steak out real estate in the picturesque Utah valleys.
In addition to spectacular fireworks shows, this year’s 4th of July events in Weber County included rodeos and a demolition derby. Both events are long-time traditions in the communities surrounding northern Utah. For those of you considering relocating to Utah, Davis and Weber Counties are a must see for summer events, great homes, neighborly communities, and a variety of shopping and dining experiences.
For a preview of things you can expect to find when buying your Utah home, please enjoy the following video of this year’s demolition derby from the Hot 4th of July celebration at Lorin Farr Park in the heart of Ogden’s downtown.
